With all the current anti bull breed BS that covers the media at the moment I thought that I needed to share something that happened to me on Sunday................Once upon a time............. Serio

Theres little point breeding Staffies these days if you are in it for the money, there is none!.The only kind of staffy people seem to want these days are the blue staffies, and a large % of them these

Find most people through attachment or pride can't find faults in their own dogs. Far too many poor examples are bred. Always believed a dog should have to earn the right to be bred. Being a lovely do

Can't remember the last time I came across a dog agressive staffie where I live while out with my mutts.Has dog agression on the whole been bred out of these dogs now?

No,the fat pig short snouted show stock has been bred to be passive as it's very frowned upon to have a dog lunging at others in the ring but there's still dogs out there who are "driven".

Mine are socialised as much as poss and are regularly out of the lead there not fussed by other dogs in the slightest but I find the real problem is a Stafford may not start a ruck but will finish it.

I think the media add fuel to the fire. Prats who shouldn't own a goldfish let alone a dog get attracted to them. I didnt even bother posting it at the time but read in the papers not to long ago about an ebt being used as a bait dog. Prats will read it and think that's what they got to go do to get a "hard"dog. Saddly it's always the dogs that get the worse end of it.

You got it in one Dare....the media promulgate the idea that dogfighters use "bait dogs" and idiots with no background in dogs begin to copy what they've read. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy and real dog men get the blame!

I'm happy that even though one of my dogs is an evil little b*****d it's me the idiots avoid,I've given a few out of control dogs a boot in the snout over the years, though my personal favourite is throwing/pushing them in the river if we're walking along it and get hassled.

So at least its not the devil dog they focus on.

Though a couple of years ago a lab attacked my then 1 year old son when he was in his buggy, that time me and my devil dog gave it a hidin.

If people want to cross the road away from staffs then i really cant see that being a bad thing, is it not better not to be in the news than in it? I do it, why? Because there is plenty of fannys with staffs, you do your bit but let others decide whats best for their own.

so.... would a staffie be able to beat up a Rottweiler :hmm::laugh:

Only the red nose ones because they have lock jaw mate.

Used to have a 10 stone rotty bitch and a etb x ,they had spats over food,

Etb x was more nimble ,rotty just stood there with saliva over its neck,

It's neck was that broad dog could get grip on it.
