well had arranged with a man to meet me at my house this morning after all that bad rain this last few days, 9 o clock was a nice bright morning but my accquaintance hadnt arrived yet! late as usual, so i buzz him, he in the van and all on the way to mine so i thought fine he will be here in another 15 mins or so... lol half hour later he still not here so im thinking somethings happened so i buzz him again...where you at?? he ran out of diesel bout 200 yards from the petrol station.. so he ran up got juice in a can comes down puts the fiver can or whatever it was in and tried turning her...she was turning over but not starting, he was closer to his house than mine and already had his brother rung and he was on his way to tow him and told me that he had to get the van looked at to head on.... 9.45 threw the dog in the box and headed out myslf for a while, by 10.15 im at my first farm, always have a bit a luck at this place, in fact just 3 weeks ago i took a real good sized dog fox of this permission and had tried it again last week, the dog was showing foxes were using it again but just werent at home that day... and as i pulled in the farmer was already telling me he had seen 2 yest morn at the bottom of the glen... i say no probs ill give it a run so dog out collared up and leaded up i walk off down the steep field towards the the glen, bout 30 yards down the field and no stock about so i let the russell off to get a pee and empty.... as i vere off to the left and into the glen bout 35 yards from the hole i see the dog nose to the ground tail like a rod and in full flight to towards the hole and drops in the first 1 eyed burrow.... as im walking over to the hole sweet music can already be heard, so i net up the only entrance and dander back up the steep field a bit to get reception on my phone to tell the famer to come down with the gun i was in!! i walk back over make a roll up and as i light it i can already hear the quad coming down the field with the farmer and his son.... so we give it bout another 15 mins and it was clear this fox was not going to bolt so i box the dog again and he still in the same spot at 0.8 and i started to dig, was in on top of the dog in about 10 mins, dogs removed from the hole and the farmer dispatched not 1 but 2 good foxes....result.... hole reinstated a lift back up the field witht the farmer and his son, quick wash for the dog in the farmer sheds into the car and back home for 12.30..... wish they were all this easy ehh!!!

Like you say wish all of them were like that couple of weeks ago I entered me bitch at 9.45 and didn't see her again untill we broke though at 5,30 pure sand stone all the way and the bloody thing was massive when we pulled it out unreal them little terriers

lol..should of edited this post to say yea he came out 5 times on an 0.8 ,,,liam i didnt even go out htat day i made it up! and FM...sssshhhh,, tut tut!
