Webley Raider, (What Are They Like)

just bought a 10 shot webley raider, ive never owned or shot one before but i will try it out over the weekend, what do you lads that have owned them think they are like and what do you recommend pellet wise, it's a .22 cheers

Seems to be a steady rifle mate.

 

my good mate Bigmac97kt will be along shortly, im sure.

 

he has a raider (2 shot?) which he regards very highly.. and gets plenty of meat on the table with it! as far as I know he swears by JSB Exact 15.89 gr and certainly gets the results with this combo.

 

but every rifle/barrel is different, so you really need to check/test as many pellets as you can in your gun.

 

jsb are a good starting point I always find them highly accurate. aswell as H&N FTTs and A.A. fields

they don't like superdomes or any long pellet. they jam the mag as the skirt sits proud.

Skot its a single shot and the jsb exact jumbo is the pellet mine love,s and i put mine up there with the best and i can also out shoot some of the best with it as Skot has said iv put plenty of meat on the table and still will they are under under ester-mated but i would never let mine go ever atvbmac :thumbs:

just been zeroing it in with some unknown pellets i had in a tub and at 23 mtrs after a few shots it got 15 pellets all within a 20p piece size so it seems to be not bad at all, and it has a webley silencer on it which works pretty well, i normally put a weihrauch silencer on a new rifle but i might leave this on, which one have you on yours mac, cheers, (and cheers for the info on the pellets lads)

Its a twink you can get them off marksman on here £40 if you pick it up or £45 posted there one of the best iv had and are fitted to all my pcp,s deadly silent atvbmac :thumbs:

Try Crosman Premier Ultras, they seem to work well in Webleys (running the cardboard boxed ones at the moment, got to get my Venom Sidewinder out soon).
