What a Crock of Shite   I've accurately Used My TTR 1 Rapid .25 cal shooting out to 55 yards with JSB Kings 25.4gr at 11.4 ft/lbs and even used it at the THL meet in the comps and the HFT. In

merry xmas mick/ daz i have shot with you both ,you dont have to prove anything to me , you do exactly as it says on the tin ,it takes a lot to impress me ,both you lads do that ,,

A .25 running at 12ft lb is probably as close as you are likely to get to the perfect ratting gun, the problem is it is pretty useless at anything else!

i used to have a Theoben Mk1 .25, and it was a amazing ratting tool. Sadly the rifle died and i gave it to a mate who restores rifles.

Now i use my Daystate MK4 IS 30fpe with the H&N Barracuda Extreme. They expand so well its truly devastating, more so than my old .25

the Old cal debate

I've shot rifles now for more than 33 years now ;) Powder burners and air in Army and civilian life.

Slipper i'm sorry pal stick to .177 cal if it works for you fine but Lads who use different cal daily

like Me and others have more experience than shooting the odd time with a mates gun in said cal.

i've spent more than a year shooting regularly to learn the aim points and characteristics of the .25 cal

to perfect the accuracy so that i'm confident i can Kill at 55 yards with lethality.

Don't need to show My ability to You but i can guarantee i can shoot the rapid ttr 1 in .25 as confident as any man on this forum.

In the right hands it's an absolute Beast, Knocks Tree rats, Pigeons and corvids out to 55 yards no problem

with the aid of a Laser range finder its a superb hunting cal with a massive kinetic knock down power imparted

on the Quarry.

have a look on youtube mate ghost hunter country persuits i watched it myself they never got 1 kill then switched to 22 or 177 n was dropping every shot

one fault pal it's a .30 cal running at sub 12 ft /lbs :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

And just to prove the doubters here's what a .25 cal does filmed and shot by Me.

but alot harder trajectory compared to the 22 or 177 still usable mind and more energy tranfere its horses for coursers and any will do the job

Up to 55 yards My TTR 1 combo is deadly the only difference with .177 cal is You have to take head shots where as the .25 is happy with Head or heart & lung shots because of

the Kinetic power of the .25 cal, Yes You have to do alot more working out trajectory but isn't that half the challenge if you want to be a better Marksman.
