Maximus Ferret 2,064
One of my dogs in the past lost a top canine tooth. I didn't notice any difference on anything. Quote Link to post
Sirius 1,391
I have had the lower canine removed on a dog after it was split longways. Nasty operation as it can effect the Jaw bone. After surgery and once its all healed no problem at all. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
Dog hit a ditch flat out. Thought he'd killed himself. Lost three front teeth and half a canine. Bottom jaw. Lucky in many ways but a gutter still. Quote Link to post

brazer 287
Anyone had a dog lose a canine? Did it affect them much? Did the tooth just fall out or was there an incident happen to cause it to loose a tooth? If it has just fallen out you should check that it dosn.t have gum disease. Periodontal disease can have dire consequences if undetected and is irreversible to treat. Quote Link to post
killa-combo 142
Bit of a incident but i wouldnt of thaught a tooth should have came out so i will look into that. Is there anyway of knowing without a vet looking at it Quote Link to post

We don't brush our dogs teeth everyday so don't really pay attention to their teeth. Quote Link to post
