Yeah she has all the necessary qualities you mention, apart from her being too tall so she can't get down to pick up rabbits and therefore isn't agile enough! lol, how's your pup doing?

Hahaha.

Use bull whippet rather then bull grey Saluki bull whippet

Look for a litter of pups were both parent are doing the business both day and night, they are one or two litters on here at the min that should fit the bill....atb

Genuine question . . .

Has anyone actually had a sal/bul/grey that was a 'proper' fox dog and also coursed hares to a high standard regularly?

The bull xgrey x saluki/greyhound owned by ireish bob called rambo was run in matches and i belive its litter mates were good on fox.

no one dog for them all if it was legal and as far a height why do you need a big dog for a all rounder at the end of the day rats and rabbits is all you can hunt

Fair point, we don't do any ferreting and a taller dog is more versatile, due to it's height, where we work ours.

would a 3 year old dog doing the buisness be too old to buy in or not or would be better a 15month old also working same dog

Buy a pup mate, unless you know the person selling and the dog very well, you don't want to be buying someone else's mistakes, + you'll get a lot more satisfaction bringing your own dog on

he wants it for this season tho mate to get straight out coursing

think youve answered your question mate

Then unless he joins some of the Irish lads over there, I take it he'll be running it illegally, only rats and rabbits over here, unless he was talking of 'coursing' rabbits of course, in which case he probably meant 'chase' not course, lol
