webster 90
i have the varmint and think its great for hunting but for hft the ret is a bit too thick , cant comment on panorama but the ret is the only complaint i have with my varmint mine hase been on a hw95 in .177 . my in .22 and my 77 in .22 . it now lives on my falcon light hunter so it will cope with the recoil of a big springer Edited November 11, 2013 by webster Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
the panorama with the half mildot is an excellent scope. very fine ret and not as 'cluttered' as the scb never tried the varmint so cant comment on that. hope this helps 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Just a shame the panorama is not a side focus , apart from that its a excellent scope Quote Link to post

Pink or stink 162
I had the Pano EV 4-12x40 on three of my rifles (all MAP6A) and still have one on my Ripley for HFT. I rate these scopes due to the reasonable glass and fine reticle which aids very precise aiming. I recently went for a used Digi nite-eye and whilst it is another good scope it's like looking down a drinking straw in comparison with the Panorama. Not long ago I was hunting squirrels and I kept having to come off the scope to re-assess where they were when they moved. With the Pano I am able to track them without having to lift my head. 1 Quote Link to post
