BAE Lightening!!!!!!! I will need a box of tissues for that :D

I live very near BAE Woodford which is now closed down but I love my childhood memories of goign to the Woodford airshow and seeing aircraft like the Lightening, Harrier, and especially the Vulcan Bomber.

I was at school during the Falklands War and we used to see the Vulcans fly in to Manchester Airport although I'm not really sure why they went their instead of Woodford...but they did.

Oh yes, the Lightning is the main reason I'm watching! :D

Fantastic plane, I believe it still holds a few records to this day. Phenomenal for a 1950's plane when you consider the jets in service today..

I watched them at the air show they used to have at RAF Brawdy here in Pembs as a kid. Saw all sorts fly there, the Vulcan, mosquito, etc.. Used to enjoy going there every year..
