Camera For The Daughter

my daughter is of to new york in april next year and fancies this camera, myself i think it is quite cheap and worth it, she is not into the dslr milarky like paulus :whistling: but thought i'd try on here to see what you think of this :thumbs:

Looks a nice bit of kit mate but I would say spend half a touch more and get a rechargeable :thumbs:

We use those at work. I'm not a big fan as I find them lacking compared to my DSLR. ;) I think for someone on a vacation (holiday) it would be fine. I hope she enjoys the Big Apple.

Not bad price that,but i think those bridge cameras look a bit flash and attract unwanted attention.

We got a oldish fuji bridge camera and people seem to look more than when we carry a old Nikon dslr around.

Sometimes a Decent compact is easier to carry around.

I picked this one for Christmas and got it on Saturday

Only had it out the box for a quick play but it handled nicely, well made, i had no memory card to put in it so couldn't take a picture but from the screen the quality it looked good, and the 30x zoom was spot on. I was looking at the one you originally posted but the AA batteries put me off!

i looked at that last night ruby :thumbs: looks ok and cheap enough also some good feedback , but in all fairness i told her to use the compact one i have its a kodak easy share i bought the other year but she said its rubbish :laugh: ffs
