s.e.s.k.u 1,893
well had half dozen rabbits this past week daytime so with the wind howling I decided to have a look this evening on lamp with Gwen to see if I could get her a run.. the wind was strong so I fancied our chances and after a short walk from home entered the field picked her a squatter and walked her right up to it, as it got up I let her go and she picked it up first strike ..delighted with her..coming along nicely at 9 month... cheers for looking sesku 5 Quote Link to post

koda 83
great feeling when its there 1st catch great feeling when its there 1st catch yep, certainly is a good feeling. did she retrieve it or was there the lap of honour most youngsters do? I no what you mean my first rabbit with my young dog was a rushed affair as there was nt many rabbits about anyway I saw a few in a bit of a hot spot for keepers etc ,so I walked up to a squatter and he did the business but he walked all over the field for ages head up and I could see lights getting turned on in a nearby house where the keeper lives anyway I grabbed the dog still with the rabbit in its mouth piled in the car and realised it was still alive it broke free dog going nuts rabbit under seat Edited October 27, 2013 by koda Quote Link to post
