A fecking bonfire on your back Could make an otherwise dull night interesting though..... I've never had a dull night lamping. With me falling over, my dog running off and slipping on crisp packets it's always one to remember watching someone sinking waist deep in a little stream always makes my night. It's more the sound they make ......................there could be a new thread here 1 Quote Link to post

R.A.W 1,987
I'm glad I didn't reconnect mine when I had to send it back last year . Going back to to lead batteries was a nightmare with a kidney blow at every fence ...... it makes you think how we used to manage in the olden days as my daughter would say Quote Link to post

redcharge 379
The angled connectors are much better imo Quote Link to post
lifelong cumbrian 1,829
The connector that lifelong Cumbrian has put above the straight connection is the one that gave me hassle the best way I've found is get the right angle connector to the socket plug for the lamp the right angle part means the connector can't bend like it does with the straight plug I just use insulating tape to tape the plug well in place. It's a bit of a daft design they did for the connector when it's so easy for the connection to come loose but that's the best way I've found round it. Type in google ( deben right angle bullet to 12 socket) and you'll see the connection I wouldn't be pulling and soldering bits of a £200 quid battery you'd never get it replaced I split the 2 wires on the connector right back to the connector itself, then pulled the wires tight on either side and taped it. It has never been a problem since. A couple of my mates have the striker with bigger lithiums, they connect with a right angle connector as you say. I put new cables on their lamps and taped the connectors for them. That coily cable is shit, done away with it and the cigar connector. Quote Link to post
