How's your driving? :D

 

I know what you mean, nothing's cheap to fix on cars these days and most things are designed to be replaced on them at huge f***ing cost instead of mended..The days of buying a cheap runaround and keeping it on the road with a tin of WD40, a hammer and a few odd spanners are long gone.. :(

probably buying crap to begin with or just not the right motor for what you want it to do, in the last 8 years I`ve had 3 nissans and the mazda truck (which blotted its copy book yesterday after 2 1/2 years of ownership decided to have a puncture, bitch), try and find something not flash, not diesel and not French and you may have better luck :thumbs:

my driving is actually not that bad that's the worst part of it I don't thrash things and there never going off road I just give up with cars

what have you had, and what`s gone wrong with them

l200 blown engine small Mazda bearings went radiator went needed new brakes and clutch was going then a rover that just dint have anything that worked then got a jimmy that was the same some joints went and bushes then brakes then the 4x4 went and gearbox just after then had the omega that just could not pass a mot the amount needing fixed was not worth it then a Astra was a write off after having it 2 weeks and the transit I've got now just been told its needing welding brakes anti roll bar bearings and bushes new suspension 2 new tyres new brake pipes as well I just give up with cars I have no luck At all

I fixed mine with a pair of scissors and an iron brew can, :laugh:

 

Lack of power traced to egr valve, removed and made a blanking plate from old juice can, boabs your uncle......

i was part of the team that designed the EGR for the first zetec engine :laugh::laugh::laugh:

They have come a long way since then, this was the original one we made for the mondeo in the early 1990`s. it was made to fit to the plastic exhaust manifold being made by a french company high up in the French Alps

I got one too mate,, still going strong ,,, nowt wrong with the frog diesel,,,, apart from where the air filter is positioned ,,, mines lows down,, and I've had 2 ripped off, in 3 years,,mind 10 quid at the scrappy has fixed it,,,

only replaced the alternator also them silly diesel return pipes that split every winter making it hard to start and chuck shit loads of white smoke out :laugh::laugh:
