I know what you mean, nothing's cheap to fix on cars these days and most things are designed to be replaced on them at huge f***ing cost instead of mended..The days of buying a cheap runaround and keeping it on the road with a tin of WD40, a hammer and a few odd spanners are long gone.. BIGLURKS 874 Posted October 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2013 what have you had, and what`s gone wrong with theml200 blown engine small Mazda bearings went radiator went needed new brakes and clutch was going then a rover that just dint have anything that worked then got a jimmy that was the same some joints went and bushes then brakes then the 4x4 went and gearbox just after then had the omega that just could not pass a mot the amount needing fixed was not worth it then a Astra was a write off after having it 2 weeks and the transit I've got now just been told its needing welding brakes anti roll bar bearings and bushes new suspension 2 new tyres new brake pipes as well I just give up with cars I have no luck At all Quote Link to post Share on other sites

They have come a long way since then, this was the original one we made for the mondeo in the early 1990`s. it was made to fit to the plastic exhaust manifold being made by a french company high up in the French Alps Quote Link to post Share on other sites
