The Boots dog is weeks behind the cream dog when it comes to maturity..I've always slightly favoured Boots, not sure why? These two certainly ain't your "featherweight" type Saluki x's and I'm glad about that, obviously some of those light framed types are of top quality and will be a darn sight better then what I have but I've always liked my dogs to be strong in bone, barrel chested etc..the "skeleton with a duster thrown over them types" don't really float my boat BUT a guy up here who has kept coursing types for many years always tells me that my dogs will not cut the ice as I keep them to heavy? I know speaking to Snoops he says Razor runs with a good back in him and the Lucas dog don't look like he runs lean either? He looks a brute of a dog? Quote Link to post

snoopdog 1,256
In my opinion a big dog needs more reserves. Razor always runs better with a bit of a back on him.thats a fact. Many folk said when razor was younger hewas to big built for what hes bred for . There are taller coursing dog's. Doi g there job well. I will be honest. I haven't seen much stronger coursing dogs.razor ..and like andy says lucas looks a nice strong type . as well. Only time will tell andy.but I know where my money is. Quote Link to post
