Set a 4 mate 1.2 by 1.2 sleeping box ideal.

What Paulus said would be cheapest.   My setup didn't cost mega money. Galv panels with 6x4 sleeping boxes.   Would be better on a concrete base with drainage and a roof is optional. But you get

jeyes or batleys black the 2 that kill the smell of piss

Thing with anything wood lads is it will rot eventually. Galvy panels will last a whole lot of years and they don't stink wood will soak up stuff that will begin to smell no matter what you do. Insulated boxes that ain't made of wood and are washable can be disinfected, hosed whatever you want.

Depends how many your building and budget.

They are decent kennels gaz but if you had got the 3/4 solid 1/4 mesh/bar panels for the sides and divider run it would have kept the draught out and if I was you I'd get some box profile sheeting with enough for a decent overhang on front and back and roof them all you need to do is drill holes on the top at the front back and middle and put 3 lengths of wood in at different thickness screw the panels to the wood then the sheets to the wood you'd roof them in an hour and if need be your kennels would come apart in no time.

The boxes have got divider boards in so there is a 2 foot "corridor" as they go inside, then a step over to the bed. No weather gets in there mate.

The solid galv sides are lovely but cost about 3 times more.

Don't see the need for a roof at the moment. If I have a dog that's standing in the rain getting wet then I will put one on.

Roofs help to keep the kennels cool mate especially in this weather a must imo if kennels aint in a shady bit and nothing worse than dogs tramping in snow and trying to clear it and rain obv. Each to their own still good kennels just wouldn't take much to finish them off.

I see your point yeh. The kennels are outside of the run though so even if I put a roof on the run it wouldn't cover the kennel.

And she wouldn't be able to sunbathe then
