Almost all meat served in take-aways (of all kinds) is halal. This stuff is everywhere - very difficult to avoid it,unfortunately. There are laws being drawn up to require the compulsory, clear labelling of halal meat, but, as usual, the final approval will rest with Brussels. Mind you, this was only called for when it was revealed that House of Commons canteens had been serving halal meat, without MP's knowledge!
