Kit With Pot Belly

I bought a kit a couple of days ago and I've noticed she has a pot belly when you pick her up.

Does anybody know what it could be?

She seems normal every other way I might give her a few days and see if it changes. She was fed on cat food the lad said

I have had that before now and when I have cut the ferret open to see what it was they were full of tumours ... They grow very aggressively in a ferret .... Oh and by the way there is worse things to feed a ferret than cat food :thumbs: ...........

There are worse things to feed a dog that carrot cake. . . . . but i doubt it'd be great for it :laugh:

 

You are bang on about the tumors though, and they do seem to grow real quick in ferrets.

 

I also wonder if, with it being a kit, it could be a blockage of some kind? Just grasping at straws.

A decent complete cat food is around the 30 to 33 % protein a complete ferret food is 36% protein so not a lot of difference like I said there are far worse things to feed a ferret than complete cat food .......

I was just taking the piss mate. When you said 'cat food' rather than complete cat food in your post, I was thinking of the shitty wet stuff you can get, the cheap crap. :thumbs:
