Went Out For Ferret Food

Recommended Posts

Well just a short post,

After the extreme heat (that I've been hiding in the shade from) I went for a walk round one of my smaller perms to get some fresh meat for the ferrets, it was a bit misty but nice and cool :)

Before I got into the field a rabbit hoped out of the grass onto the track about 45 yards away, that was rabbit number 1 and to be honest there was rabbits dotted about the field I was heading into so I just got a rest on the fence and shot another 3 from the same spot, I could hear a woody to my right so with a bit of neck straining I spotted him about 35 yards,I couldn't see his head so went for a heart/lung shot, the pellet hit exactly where the cross was and he was down, I then headed back down the track to the bottom field and accounted for another 2

All in all a good hour and a half and I wasn't melting ?lol

Here's a pic and when I got home I put the rabbits in the yard for 5 mins while I put the gun in, when I came out I found my 3 yr old daughter Krystal stood with a rabbit(saying can I feed the ferrets lol)

Priceless
