satan80 358
Thoughts? I think he'll deal with Paulie tonight, even if he gets messed around early, Malignaggi hasn't got the power to pose any threat offensively, so i think Broner will catch up with him at some point, late stoppage. Broner's got some real ability and has looked the business so far, his calmness impresses me most, he looks completely at home in the ring, comfortable at any range so can focus on figuring his opponents out without ever looking panicked, which is a very rare quality i think, even at the top level of the sport. He's got some flaws though too i reckon, footwork not amazing, can get static and when he does, his philly shell defence is nowhere near as tight as a Mayweather/Toney, even a crude banger like Ponce de Leon got through with a fair amount of shots. It'll be interesting to see how he copes now he's up in weight too and not massively bigger than his opponents like he has been (poor little Gavin Rees ) So is he boxing's next Yank superstar or another Jeff Lacy, waiting to be spanked by a real champ and then fading into obscurity?....

mexlad 189
Watched his last 4 fights, I think he has the potential to be a great, he has all the bravado but can back it up, he can adapt to any style he can box on the from or back foot equally as good and has power, only thing that puts me off him slightly is he try's too hard to be like mayweather but technically he's very good. *The*Field*Marshall* 674
Bit late on it I know! . . I'm not yet convinced with Broner (regardless of the Malinaggi fight) I think he's good, better than a lacy. . But not sure how good. I'd like to see him fight Khan. . If Amir could take his shots I think he'd beat him with his work rate. .
