I like them in the house tho.. Think its bit unfair to band a young pup in a run, mind its always been winter when i have had young dogs on the ground.. Start as you mean to go on with everything from housing it to feeding it and training it... spot on Colin, i put Buck my pup with Bryn 1st night ,and then slowly bit by bit put im in his own kennel, used feed him in his own kennel, that did help. Ideation 8,217 Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 We usually have our in the house until about 8/9 weeks, then out in the pen in the day and in the house in the eve / night till about 4-5 months, so all the house training etc can be done, then in the pen full time.
