paulus 26
Watching that clip is is very difficult to tell the difference between a Gos and Buzzard? It was its flight movement more than its body shape/ features that drew me too it more than anything...........I shall be keeping a look out.... should have gone to specsavers one`s a burrito and the other an accipiter
Lab 10,979
lab was it the same colour as a sparrow hawk or brownie looking like a buzzard Id say more like the brown of the buzzard mate...........it was like a small, quick Buzzard. Its wings looked leaner if that makes any sense?

Chid 6,783
Pere/saker lost from a falconer even worse than a gos for killing your pheasants

Lab 10,979
maybe a harris hawk escaped from a falconer near by??? Its not a Harris mate..........its lighter than that in colour. It had the bars across its tail, similar to the Spar actually but its bigger than that.....ive seen a few of them.... Looked at loads of pics now so its either a Gos or its a giant Spar........ Eye colour depends on age and breeding some gos's eyes will stay yellow and a lot have orange eyes

Funny cause i watched a bird come along yesterday and take away a dead chick that was on the shed roof....that bird was a Jackdaw....

A red eyed gos is a very mature bird.
Born Hunter 17,909
Purely out of interest, supposing it was a domesticated escapee........................ could you do anything about it? Even if it was a non native escapee? I mean trap it or kill it? LEGALLY?
