11 mods and 48,500 members ... anything got to do with the NIRLC its deleted straight away, you one off the 11 . if you want to delete me if will prove a point that no one can speak out and there issue be known. its a forum

correct, it is a forum for the discussion hunting and hunting matters not for your personal agenda with the NIRLC . i have no idea what has or has not been deleted in this or any other post to do with the NIRLC and to be honest until today reading this today i had never herd of them, as is probably the same with most of the other MODS on here. why would i want to delete you? do you think if your deleted it would make much difference to the forum  keep to forum rules and everyones happy, If you have personal issues with someone or something then take it up with them but keep it personal

What a day. My first time there can't wait to go back and the kids just loved it their all fast asleep. Hats of to the NILRC lads there doing a great job. Can't wait for the next one

your right there pal im getting a bit old in the tooth for hunting ya know but f**k a fifty year old fat bald man in hipsters an a thong just cant compete with the young ladys showing now

Malt,   Love your quotation - wouldn't life be great if everyone took it to heart! AlbertJ

I'm not sure what this is about, and honestly i'm not interested but for some reason there seems to be a lot of threads started relating to one theme. When peoples names are typed all over the forum they will be removed, period. It's possible to have a difference of opinion and keep it civil. Personal issues should be kept private and off the forum, if it's a debatable topic that's great, just please keep it civil............

why do you feel the need to comment on something you clearly wrote you know nothing about.

It might have something to do with the fact its on a forum where im a mod along with 10 others, Right listen up, If you have a problem with this NILRC then go to a meeting, the AGM or whatever and take it up with them directly, This section is to advertise and discus game fairs and events not to bitch about your personal grievances with some club/club member or other. This is the last post i will make on this, its now up to you to abide by whats been said or go and bitch elsewhere

As I clearly explained, I don't care. I pointed out about using peoples names and keeping things civil, the details of the disagreement hold no interest for me, i'm here to moderate, racing doesn't interest me, nor the politics behind it.........

janet ,you and your whippet club are alot longer established than NILRC, never heard any complains on here about the way you all run things. just wondering why you wouldn't invited in to the club.

Our club is certainly not without it's problems, but we don't come on here making sweeping statements about how good we are etc! We are a democratic club, it is certainly not "my" club, and we keep our internal matters to ourselves. We hope we have moved forward over the few years we have been in existance, but it hasn't all happened over night lol.................the sad thing is that as long as there are people intent on cheating, you will always have problems to sort out, how you sort those problems out is up to each individual club or show organiser!

Janet

Good honest well balanced post Janet  A few others on here should take a leaf from your book.

Mate, I honestly don't know as I have been going to shows since the mid 80's and I have only ever shown a dog three times and never entered a race. I can hand on heart say I couldn't give a fig what a stranger thinks of my dogs. As I mentioned, I haven't got a clue what's going on, all i'm asking is people keep things civil and names off the forum. I don't have a "side" or a personal interest. Just a desire for peace and harmony upon the earth

" Keep er Lit " Dog Show Sunday 26th April 2026
It was rise and shine time on Sunday morning and just as dawn was breaking into daylight, we were on our way to our first dog show of the year. Very soon deep in the heart of the County Antrim countryside we arrived at the now famous Doagh Equestrian, and the venue for the annual “Keep er Lit “ dog show and what a day that was.
As usual the grass was immaculately cut with the show rings well spaced out and plenty of cold water for our precious canine friends on a very warm day
As the morning progressed into noon, cars and trailers with dogs in tow filled the field to capacity.  There was a very large crowd at this now very popular annual show.   The craic and the banter was in full swing among the huntsmen and women, after waving good bye to Mr Fox and his girlfriend of on their summer holidays.
As I walked around the field I spoke to many of my canine friends of yester year. There was plenty of tea, coffee and chips on offer and Paul Boyd was there with everything you need in Country Sports gear.
Some great bargains was to be had in the  Equestrian shop on site with big discounts on offer on the day. I had to take control of my retail therapy when I got into the shop, otherwise I would off went home penniless.
When showing was complete, it was Raffle Time, and as usual the raffle generates a lot of excitement around the field, with some great prizes on offer. Time passes so quickly and very soon it was show time.

And Finally, Finally Leigh Thompson and Paddy Gibson, what can I say that will praise this partnership enough. Your show was well organised, a roaring success, and a credit to all good sporting shows and a great window for Country Sports.  It was evident on the day a lot of hard work went on behind the scenes, with a heavy emphasis on our hard working dogs both in the field and in the ring, and to make this show so enjoyable for everybody on the day.
Leigh and Paddy, Thanks for the memory and I am already looking forward to more of the same in 2027.
