Im going to join the edl, as far as i can make out there the only group speaking out against the islamification of GB. I in no way have a problem with anyone because of the colour of their skin or their racial heritage i just dont agree that islam should be forced down our necks at every turn an yet we cant speak up against it without fear of reprisals from our own govenment. If people like me join the edl and many thousands of other likeminded people they cant just be brushed away as racist thugs cos the fact is im not racist nor a thug. One gripe i have is the name it should be the british defence league, i hate how fractured our little islands are yes we have our differences but for every difference weve a million things in common and the anti english rhetoric that comes from wales scotland and ireland and the cliched jokes from the english only makes it worse.ive english welsh scottish and irish ancestory as will 90% of white folk here that makes us british

Maybe other parts of the UK don't have such a problem with an aggressive Muslim presence ? Is their population in other parts so small that the only sensible thing they can do is keep their heads down ? (for now !). For instance, where I live, there are nothing but white faces - but even though they have no presence at all here, they are generally viewed with suspicion and mis-trust.

Can any other members in further flung parts enlighten us..........

You're probably right JD, and the communities that are not aware of the future problems, or fail to take them seriously, are the most vulnerable to take-over.

We've got to take some of the blame for the way things are going IMO. Our society's have gone, while other groups stick together and help each other, most of us are more interested in sticking the knife into other groups of our kind and helping ourselves out. You only need to look at the hunting community and all it's different activities to see that. If we had all stuck together and united there wouldn't have been a hunting ban and the government would think twice about trying to force further restrictions on what's left in the future.. Why do you think the Muslims always get their own way? Because they will come out as one and kick off if it don't go their own way, that's why..

You're right Malt.

Their strength is their unity and common ideal. I think the British, on the whole, still have these things - we just don't seem able to mobilise them to the extant that other communities can.

Yer because blacks sikhs and hindus have adapted and assimilated have they lol

The town nearest to us has a large community of both Hindus and Sikhs, and I have never encountered any problems with either. I have always found them polite and civil, even the younger generations. They keep themselves to themselves, but they don't cause any problems. The same cannot be said of a section of the Muslims !

 They saw what a very organised mass protest was capable of, so not only broke the capability of people to organise them but took away the rallying points as well..

Indeed ! And I'm not sure if the situation is recoverable - if we don't find a way, we are truly lost !
