Boot Fairs, The Gift That Just Keeps On Giving!!

Recommended Posts

Another right result at the boot fairs this week, 4 metres of ghost camo and a camo ground sheet for £12, both in perfect condition with a decent bag to boot, last week a brand spanking new Barbour hat for £3.50. Had 3 sets of Dickies wax chaps, brand new in still in the packets with tags not long back for £4,

What's your best boot fair bargain?

Not a bargain as such as i paid 100euro for it but bloody handy i bought a plastic pallet with raised sides and a lid... It also has 2 hatches for access... Big enough to use as a dog crate/dog kennel to transport pretty much anything in, its also collapsable... Im going to keep it in the big van to put my shopping in instead of it rolling around the van... Seriously handy piece of kit i can think of a plethora of uses for it

Saw in the local paper this morning a man bought a watch for £25 from the car boot, Got it home and had it valued and it turned out to be the original breitling from an old 007 film. Sold it at auction for £60,000 :icon_eek:
