Bedlington Whippet Greyhound For Bushing

i have one they are good little dogs mine was a fantastic rabbit dog till he broke his wrist i have seen the same breed of dog do roe and fox on its own many moons of go so if you get the right dog from good breeding they can be good dogs indeed.

 

hears a pic of mine he is 24 1/2" ths best rabbit dog i have ever had

the choice is your but id want something small around 22tts and quick off the mark for bushing, around my area miles and miles of hedgerows so rabbits dont tend to break across fields just further up the hedge dog needs to be quick for a short burst to catch them,suits me although we all different cheers :thumbs:

got bwg myself great we bushing dog but why do you want a dog to bush if you have 2 already no point in having 3 dogs in cover when something bolts doesnt make sense to me jmo

because my terrier an an spaniel don't catch so i want some thing that will catch the rabbit not just chase it

yeah its like that round here as well they never bolt across the field always just close to hedge row

bred a litter that way couple of summers ago, good coats, quick of the mark, don't mind cover and hit hedges hard, so they suit me for daytime mooching and ferreting, i don't lamp myself but no reason they shouldn't be half decent at that as well.

good choice mate the 2 i have a 21tts one will do the cover and the other waits and takes the glory can be very clever we dogs
