WILF 50,662
I work in education, and like the holidays lol, so i'm against it from a selfish stand point. From a parental view I'm also against it, as kids spend enough of their childhood in school, which i never enjoyed myself. I've just qualified as a "forest schools" leader, so will be taking kids out into the woods too learn a bit of field and wood craft for 5 hours a week. Hopefully make some kids school life a bit more fun. All I can say is mate, worthwhile.......I have never done anything that I consider worthwhile in the greater sense of the word so fair play to you.
BIGLURKS 874
All I can say is school was prtty dam useless for me the best years that I got from education were at college were I learned more in 2 years studying too be a game keeper then the 5 years I spent at school too do some exams that have still too this day been about as much use as 2 legged dog and the best experiences I got were when I was 12 been shown how too make money from fishing nets in a bay the problem with this country is too many folk want too be the doctors lawyers architects bankers if there is not enuf kids been steered towards labour jobs sparkys dairymen game keepers cleaners builders plasters as such these jobs will go too European workers we are not a country of British workers any more and if any one thinks more school is going too work then they need too look at jobs that are going too be available when they leave Iam not saying all children should be shunned away from trying too achieve great jobs but too be realistic on how clever they will be I've prop got 8 school friends that went on too uni too study computers and still have no job and are still on the dole why there answers vary but more aless say Iam trained too be a computer guy I should be earning 40 k a year with my training why would I take a job paying 15 k a year cleaning so no I think schools need a restructure not more time spent in there and a choice on what u want too do before u leave school
