just read it,very sad tale to read, i wonder why they (didnt) have there guns broke, when they were walking to where they wanted to get, or unless they were Autos .? Still very sad for the family and other bloke with him.

I doubt losing his guns would bother him,intact I bet he will ever want to pick a gun up again after this,I imagine it will be a lifetime of what ifs.,sad times for all involved,accidents arnt personal,

How tragic,without knowing the full details one can't really make any judgement as to whether safety etiquette was breached?The inquest will decide that I suppose?Really sad for all concerned.

One of my best mates died when he, or his mate, put a loaded shotgun in the car. terrier jumped in, landed on trigger and that was that. When I got the phone call I thought it was one of his 'jokes', getting someone to ring me and pretend it was dead as we were always winding each other up. Sadly, this time it was real. tragic.
