Picked this up this morning,, was told a BSA lightning complete setup £175

 

Turned out to be a gas ram XL witha Hawke sr6 scope ! :laugh:

 

Was being sold on,, but not now,, shoots smooth a silk, .177 as well so suits me.

 

Rabbits, al, la , camper window anyone ?? :D

It` feels magic as well,, was surprised as I used to have a lightning for years, but this feels way better,, shoulders much better and feels lovely,, once I picked it up and looked down the tube, I knew I was keeping it..

 

Then I found out it was the grt version! haha Yay!

Looks good, be great if you could post some groupings with it as I've read of difficulties on the accuracy front with those GRT's. Probably the usual scares that follow a newly launched gun, People have been gas strutting them for years....

Will do Mike,, might try tomorrow to get it out for a blast. My lighning was fine for grouping, an tbh the gas ram feels way smoother, I`ve shot a few gas ram guns and they were fine,
