hawki 1,446
Good choice of rod mate...... Diawa do some great gear......... now all you have to do is get a few in the bag. A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at the office ! is diawa still as popular today hawki ......... It was all the rage in the 80's .....to me and my mates anyway ... I dont think diawa is as popular as it was........ because with all that sh*t* getting pumped out by aldi and lidi... its value droped abit........ but diawa it is still good guality gear and is still up their with the best Quote Link to post

hawki 1,446
it depends on what type of rods you have....and what you want to fish for . Quote Link to post

Hmmm nice. 1 Quote Link to post

AirgunGuy 362
Wouldn't touch telescopic rods with a barge pole. Invest in a 5-6 piece smuggler type Edited March 23, 2013 by AirgunGuy Quote Link to post

How did you break them Pete...with casting? Quote Link to post

bunny tickler 876
dont be convinced by the warranty on the greys rods i bought 2 carp rods for bassing in the same day first time out the inserts fell out of the first bottom ring ,ok easy repair for me but why after paying top money should i ? rang greys the reply was cut the section up into 4" lengths then post them back we will replace the section at £35 warranty ! i said send me the rings i will rewhip them on ,nope chop the sections up or no new section ,then i bought a new greys sea spinning rod ,broke just above the but section , no pressure on it ,it just broke ,same thing chop the lot up send it back £35 warranty ,before you all start the slagging this site is famous for ,i have fished all around the world ,from cuban tarpon to nile perch .marlin ,you name it i have caught it , as said before i will never buy a greys (made in the far east ) again ..just my opinion again , those happy ,cheers best of luck ,but just wait untill the rod breaks your warranty is near half the price of a brand new rod ,,warrantys should be free like sage etc Quote Link to post
