BS40liam 203
There was just a preview for the news this evening ( don't no how many people saw it) about hare coursing, I wonder what sort of bad name the news reporters will give lurcher owners now after the news report. Feckin pathetic!

BS40liam 203
It just gives joe public more to criticise about tho and makes it one step harder for if the ban was ever to be reviewed for repeal
LaraCroft 863
I get the full range - lurchers "I am a blood thirsty hunter" ridgeback " I am an inconsiderate human keeping a dangerous dog" a very tall lurcher " is he a horse ?" walking 5 dogs at a time "why do you need so many ? " ..... I give up on people

tb25 4,627
i find the worse one is... DO YOU EVER FEED THAT DOG as there standing there with the most unhealthy fat dog you ever did see
LaraCroft 863
Oh I get the " he's kinda skinny" when 4 out of 5 are a decent weight - they are not racing snakes, but they are on the slim side of good. I do love it when a size 18 female asks if my dog is a little skinny - I do have to bite my tongue and answer in a polite way.... mainly
The Duncan 802
Funny thing is, I bute my tongue when I see someone with a fat dog, but if you've a slender dog people aren't backwards in coming forwards to say its skinny.

Exactly. My Dipstick is red merle, so his coat always looks a little odd anyway, but people say he is skinny - yet you can't see his ribs. I think the idea of what skinny looks like has gone wrong. They think a roly poly fat lab is normal - my lot look like Ethiopian refugees in comparison, so they think it is wrong - not healthy

BS40liam 203
Well the news report wasn't that bad, just about people travelling hundreds if miles to Wiltshire to hare course involving betting thousands of pounds lol! There was some alright footage of a couple if corses tho haha

skycat 6,174
With more than half the population obese, (both human and canine) no wonder they see anything remotely resembling a healthy animal as skinny and starving.
fitchet 788
I had a chap that is the best part of 20 stone tell me my bull/greyhound was too skinny I just laughed and carried on. The saluki/greyhound is the worse though my mrs calls ours a "walking RSPCA advert". As already said there nothing worse that they can do now so f**k them. Atb
