ftm 3,357
dropped grandkids off at school & decided to go for a walk with dog& rifle with nothing specific in mind just a stroll about ,i walked through the horse paddock and spotted a bandit carrying twigs into a small copse /mixed wood so i walked over towards it & it spotted me & was off! i knew it would return so settled in about 30 yds away and 20 minutes later 2 bandits appeared and were stealing from this nest! one hung around a second too long and i had a nice clear shot that dropped it like a stone , i thought its mate would have done a bunk so sent koda out to retrieve it only for the remaining one to start mobbing the dog --wrong idea for this bandit & it was dispatched with a fairly easy shot to the napper so job done on another pair of bandits lads ,it just goes to show that a simple walk around can be very satisfying -billy Quote Link to post
