pip1968 2,490 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Share Posted January 9, 2013 im sitting here at home and dont know what to do with my self.i worked most of last year and have worked most of my life in dfferent jobs but as work is hard to come by these days i started to work agencys.then xmas comes along and you end up with a very long break as most companies dont go back till january 7th and finnished my last job on the 10th december and have been waiting for work to come in.so my day now starts at 6am get up take the dogs out back home clean the house and sit on the computer chatting on here most of the day. as im not a young lad who can pop round and sit with your mates like we used to, my question is what do you lads do to make life a bit more tolerable and pass the time when out of work Quote Link to post Share on other sites

haymin 2,465 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Share Posted January 9, 2013 I work most of the time but if the bad weather comes in and can't get any ground work done there's always somebody needing something done ie painting ,cleaning out guttering just odd jobs , I'm never shy in asking some one for work , it's good to have a break but do t get stuck in the rut lad always some thing to do . I bet I could have paid to get you up to Aberdeen and done the job for less than some of the quotes we got!!
