lurcher330 2,301
My pups are 11 days old today and i noticed this on the dog pups back,it seems like a cyst with fluid inside it, I will be bring him up to to vet in a while,as i have to go up and fix him up for doing the c section ,but this has me worried even more so as i was starting to favour keeping the dog pup. does anyone reckon it could be a serious problem........ chris k 205
my lurcher has the same sort of lump behind his front right leg. vets said it was a fatty mass after they operated on it Quote Link to post
Runningdogs3 59
Sounds like a dermoid cyst. You will need to get him checked out by the vet. some remove them and some don't it depends on the vet. Quote Link to post

I had him at the vet lastnight,he said if it is blood filled it should go down in time an if he lanced it he could bleed to death, but if it is puss it will get bigger and start to make a head and he will lance it then, but he says he will be ok Edited November 9, 2012 by lurcher330 Quote Link to post

Can't believe the vet didn't atleast try to drain it as above, very strange Edited November 9, 2012 by alimac Quote Link to post
