i take Buck every day to see sheep+ cattle, and having Bryn there as made it easy for me, as Bryn is 100% sound with any stock. Buck just follows Bryn about and its works well. He is 11 weeks old now,

bird, didnt you have a bull x too? or am i mistaken you for someone else on here , sure u did though?

yeh did mate, he kept blacking out when lamping, a lad who done more terrier work than lamping had him, which would be better for him. My vet said it was (lack of oxygen) to the Brain , last i heard he was doing ok with( day+ night) work. But you really( never) know in this game , of what people say .

Good to see you out and knocking a few rabbits over. Can't say I would be taking pups out for hours lamping personally, but good luck with that.

thanks mate, yeh with Buck the 1 x gsd x grey pup , as said on the (52) post , i take him out couple hours evey day with Bryn. So just learning him his feild craft in the night , i think that if you( dont) take'em till say (6 month old)(lamping) ,because then they are (bigger+ stronger+ faster) they can hurt there selves alot more than at Bucks age now (3 month). He will know all about fences+gates + ditches ( now) and when he does get to 6 months+ above it should hold him in good stead. i might be wrong? time will tell

Like I say good luck with that, I am the opposite, and like to wait as not too over do it with a youngster, and I do all training solo. Each to their own. ;)
