No point in giving a dog anti biotics when it doesn't need them ... I'd get some Manuka honey on it , ive seen first hand what it can do (on a person) it's bloody good stuff 2 Quote Link to post

paulus 26
would of thought a course of anti inflamatories would have taken care of the swelling that was causing the stitches to pop Quote Link to post

Antibiotics better than Manuka honey .... Why then would a hospital specialist prescribe it for a wound instead of antibiotics ??? liberal use of antibiotics means they don't work the best Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
Did you refuse to pay the first vet/or claim compensation/or money back? I'd have thought a word with the second vet might have helped to get some recompense from the initial butcher..or at least a letter of complaint? Glad he's on the mend though..atb stabba Quote Link to post
LauBen 9
Glad to hear he's on the mend mate, I would be thinking of having words with the 2nd Vet about how best to complain. Quote Link to post
