semi auto choice?

Recommended Posts

hi,

ive been looking at two of the beretta semi autos and was wondering which one do people think is better and why? im after one that cycles light to heavier loads without any bother. these two guns are pretty close in price with only £20 between them.

they are: the A302, and the AL391.

i did a post a week or so,finding out about which ones were reliable and got some good answers,i did like the fabarm semi as suggested by others but the ones i liked were to much money for me,

any advise will be taken onboard.

thanks tl.

I've had a the AL391 Gold Sporting and it cycled everything I ever fed it. I am a semi auto nut, I have owned loads and still have 5.

I have a couple of Fabarm XLR5 and a Competition Extra (currently for sale) and have ordered the new Fabarm Velocity. I personally can't recommend Fabarm products enough. Most semi autos will cycle lighter loads as long as they are 70mm, they tend to be a bit more picky over 65mm

I owned a 303 (similar to 302) and currently own a 391, my lad loved the 303, I much prefer the 391.

They are both excellent but the 391 handles slightly lighter loads than the 303 and is easy with the heavier loads.

All round I upgraded because the 391 is a better package, and much better Fore stock (for me), although as I said, my lad loved/preferred the 303!

For the price, they are nice, reliable and sweet to shoot. Great pigeon gun or rough shooting gun.

For that price, you don't end up crying if it gets a scratch on it
