spade 224
When I worked in the railway industry annual hours contracts were being introduced for drivers which was OK if driver weren't offered "overtime" but on the flip side a driver could complete his annual hours in a matter of months and then wouldn't have to work until the start of the new contract year thus leading to driver shortages. gamerooster 1,179
Its a sad day and age we live in, where as that someone would rather sit on the couch all day and do f**k all for a measly 60-70 quid, than get of there fat f*****g useless arse, have some pride and dignity, graft the bollox off, and have some of the finer things in life!!!

scothunter 12,609
Years ago insulated a loft in this guys house ruby. He had converted a room in his house for a train set. I say train set. It was minted. The detail and time he spent on this. Not to mention the cost. I wasn't forward enlighten to ask him the price, but after him telling us the price of a set of signals and a few other landscape stuff. A quick calculation grand plus and that didn't include tracks or trains lol

Mine started when I was about 9 when a great uncle died, he collected all sorts but kept it in the box and before he passed he told my dad I had to get maximum enjoyment from them and unbox them. The track was old and knackered but the actual trains were and still are spot on. I must have spent £1000+ in my early teens lol, sad now but loved it!
