shooting with glasses

Recommended Posts

i used to wear glasses for reading ect and my eye sight seems to have gone down a bit in the last few months, so i went for my eyes tested yesterday and got to pick up my new glasses next week.

my question is does it cause you any problems by wearing glasses??

cheers wxm

Sometimes it does.

When I'm lamping in the cemetery, there are street lights around and I get multiple reflections onto the eyebell lens witch reduces contrast :wallbash:

There is also the problem when I'm out in the cold as the odd breath can really fog the glasses up.

I've tried contact lenses to over come these problems but I dont get along with them too well  and when wearing them in low light I've found I cant make out quarry very well at all unless its close.

They can be a pain but wearing a wide brimmed hat helps ,but the guy that can fit window wipers to them is going to make a fortune

think these are the one's i need with hazard lights aswell lol

using a night scope I have to sight it in and use it with no glasses on .So glasses on and of .glasses in and out of pocket with pellets and torch in the dark is a bit of a pain....I have never tryed contact lenses .sometimes using different glasses makes me hold the gun a bit different by making me hold my head differently .glasses with big lenses help me to hold the gun more naturally .
