as a alternertiv to wood do you use plastic 1's,either 1's you made yeah self converted tool boxs ect or 1's you got off ebay and are they any better than wood . atb sp

didnt get a ferret box yet so im going drilling a few holes in a cheap toolbox

tried to make one out 4" drainage pipe once. it looked the part............

 

after a few hours bushing the dogs marked a lovely little 4 hole berry. went to pull out the ferret to be greeted by something of a sci-fi film. the ferret was soaking wet and not a pretty sight. i had plenty of hole for ventilation it must have been the plastic. back to wood for me after that atb RAW

yeah sweating was another problem i thought of. still might give the tool box thing ago its going to cost me nothing as ive already go the bits nocking around. atb sp

I use a tool box with a partition as a double box, never had a problem with condensation. It does have ply interior lids so I can i open each section individually, maybe that helps? I've used it for the last three seasons and thinks its ideal. Very good in the rain no water gets in and I've never seen any condensation on it even after the ferrets have been put away wet.

I use the plastic ones myself,never had a problem with condensation,easy to clean,lightweight and no fear of splinters in your arse whilst draining the flask dont see why a tool box cant be modified,get it done and get some pics up
