Gaz_1989 9,539
What reasonably priced completes are people recommending to mix with raw feeding? I feed rack of lamb or chicken carcass every morning then evening is half a scoop of complete with mince meat one day (chicken, lamb or beef) and minced green tripe the next. On tripe days I add a spoon of cod liver oil and once a week I swap the meat for tin of fish and 2 eggs. Cheers Gaz

moonlighter 1,165
I feed similar but I mix my mince beef/tripe with boiled rice and multi vit powder. I get a massive bag of rice from Aldi and boil a bit up each night. (Or a few mins in the microwave) I sometimes add a bit of veg to the rice like a carrot or a bit if cauliflower. martin 332
Complete dog food is just what it says,so you don't mix it with anything, you either feed BARF or complete......it's make your mind up time. Martin

Martin Why? The dogs need more than just BONES AND RAW FOOD Martin. And most/all completes are pretty shite alone. My Dogs look much better with a meat based diet. I haven't got the time at the moment to be sourcing and preparing vegetables for every meal or cooking pasta/rice to mix in, so a small scoop of complete does the job. Where do you get the multi vitamin powder from? And do you feed a spoon of that daily? I would ideally like to come away from the complete but don't have time to sort vegetables everyday. moonlighter 1,165
I use Feramo multi vit of the Internet, and rice takes about 3 mins in the microwave so no hassle really. Most vitimins carnt be stored in the body so yes they need to be given daily.
Gaz_1989 9,539
I might drop the mixer and start giving a slice of brown bread or handful of pre-cooked rice with a spoon of keepers mix from dorwest herbs. Gaz

Cheers Gaz Get to Iceland and buy frozen veg - most of it is £1 per kg or so. Then just use some each day as needed.............maybe give the sweetcorn a miss though - comes out the same as it goes in unless you put it through a blender first
