The Seeker 3,048
L.P.s and 45s from the 60s and 70s , are they worth anything and wheres the best place to off load them ? what you got? Quadrephenia amongst others , a mix mate , from George Formby to Slade , Beatlesetc etc etc 1st off im no expert I'm just a lover of music. To be honest it depends on rarity, for example the 1st Beatles album Please Please Me will fetch around £60.00 but I have a copy of the 1st pressing and because there were only hundreds not thousands produced before the lable on the album changed its worth about £1000.00. If it was the stereo version it would be worth about £4-5K! An A&M Sex Pistols God Save The Queen single is worth around £8,000 because the were kicked off the label before its was released although some had been already pressed. The very late Frank Wilson original 45 single of "do I Love You" will fetch £30K!!! Again it's rare becau this was only a demo and not for release so only a handful exist. So don't be disappointed but the majority will only be worth a fee quid but you may have a gem in there worth £100.00 or so, take them to a proper record shop and ask them, alternatively get on line and do a bit of research. Most of all get them played! ATB
