Of course you do, because squaddies are so well behaved aren't they?! Not always no BUT at least they have the balls to go out and do a job that none of them spineless gobshites would ever have the minerals to do ....... What a load of shit,minerals? come on,any wanker off the street could be trained to do that. Minerals?? Don't talk such fukcing bollox if that was the case then why is it that over half of guys who sign up for the infantry fail basic training .......... socks never mock any one who had the will to serve but could not come up to the requred standard in other times their kind were the back bone of the infantry i think you need to vistit any town or village in the uk and read the names they didnt take no test bud they just turned up Where was I mocking anybody ??? Believe me, I have a had a few lads between 18 and 24 working for me and I tell you now, not one of them would make the grade because they don't have the right mental attitude. Sometimes you look at the young lads hanging around, and think what a waste if space. It's worse if you actually engage then in conversation. Some are as thick as f**k. Having said that though, if anyone can whip them into shape, and give them some sense of worth and pride in themselfs and thier country, it's the British army! Got to agree with gte, they weren't so choosy when Britains back was against the wAll. Lets face it Britain loves a "ruck ", and its people have always been keen to get in the thick of it.
