tegater 789
He was let through that gate 3 times during the day when suddenly this copper decides to change the rules. Who wouldn't have got pissed off at that?? Haha, you mean who wouldn't get pissed off at opening anti vehicle barriers, and then 2 large wrought iron gates, for 1 man on a bike, when he could just go through a small side gate! Is this what its all come to! Get real, they wouldn't do it for a normal member of the public, why should they do it for him. Who said it was the same copper each time anyway ffs.
Guest bezza
The gates were put there to stop a repeat of the IRA attack where they fired a missile at 10 Downing Street from the back of a truck. Mitchell should have remembered that.If they are opened every time a jumped up self important little creep like Mitchell wanted them open they might as well not be there.
spade 224
Makes me laugh, all this tory public school tossers etc. There are plenty of Labour politicians and supporters who have also had a public school education who are equally as arrogant. So he didn't like what the police said to him and he reacted inappropriately and everyone is wanting his resignation. Remember John Prescott not agreeing with that protester in Wales and giving the bloke a smack but he didn't feel the need to resign. would you not of given him a smack in the mouth or would of just walked at least he was man enough to try and hit him It's got nothing to do with what I would or wouldn't have done. It is about people in public office behaving appropriately. IMO the whole political class, left and right, screw all of us whether they went to public school or were a steward on a humber ferry. WILF 49,546
'Pleb', 'Know your place', 'I'll have your job'. Arrogant, self important, pompous little Hiler. He hasn't even got the decency to resign. We are being governed by a posh boys club. I think I've staggered into some horror movie with this tory led coalition. Check out the stories and photographs of Osborne with a line of coke and a black prostitute. ( he says it was spilt sugar) Unbelievable. i'm looking forward to his resignation..... jumped up little shite.... And that will make the country better how?...........do you know what, I dont give a f**k if he coats off a cozzer, sleeps with farm yard animals, takes f*****g horse or bums rent boys..........it dont alter my life one bit. Politicians know full well that the public at large are pathetic enough to worry about these stupid little shit details..........theres wars going on, economic worries, global f*****g warming, kids dieing of hunger. But all we worry about is "Did Jon Terry call Ferdinand a rude name"..........."Did some one call a copper a rude name"..........."Is that bloke paying enough tax"..............totall f*****g bullshit. Wilf I agree with your second paragraph, but this incident is important because it demonstrates clearly that there's a very unhealthy class divide in this country. Cameron, Osborne Boris and this clown Mitchell are just the type of 'officer class' that sent thousands of working class men over the top to be mown down german machine guns They see us as expendable, as a lower form of life. It's this attitude which pays chief execuives thousands of pounds per day and the likes of us washers. We british ordinary Joes also have one of the worst state pensions in the developed world. There's a class divide in this country which is actually, according to the stats, getting worse in terms of how much people have in their pocket. I once met a director of a company which ran two operations , one in England and one in Belgium. He told me he couldn't believe the differences between the two plants. In the Belgian plant, workers and bosses sat together in the canteen and socialised after hours together. He couldn't get over the fact that in the british plant only workers had to clock in and not management. And he was totally gobsmacked by the fact that there were separate toilets for workers and management. As he said;'it's as though the british workers are a lower form of life'. Here's another example of the way this country treats its people:__ Check out the quality of equipment/clothing that British squaddies have compared to the rest of Europe and the yanks. It's shite. It was exactly the same in the two major wars. I want my grandchildren to grow up in a meritocracy, not one where your card is marked as soon as you are born. Or where 10% of the population own 90% of the wealth. We are nor even citizens in this country we are her majesty's subjects. Subjects of a dysfunctional, german family who receive millions in handouts. Even with the relentless propaganda they churn out, surely you can see Wilf, that they sit at the top of a hierarchy underneath which Cameron and co whilst grovelling to their so called betters, kick us as hard as they can. It's not like this in other parts of Europe or Australia, New Zealand and countless other countries. Class is ingrained in this country and this Mitchell creature has exposed it. It's not convenient for the tories to be shown up in this light. It's too much truth and that is never a comfortable thing to expose. PS. I remember once being late for work and was 'quartered'. That is although I was only five minutes late I would not be paid for 15 minutes, hence quartered. I was late for work for a good family reason. The foreman, an arse licker of the highest order, but a bully to those under him, told me start work immediately but I refused until the full 15 minutes were up. He reported me to the manager who (arrived at work two hours later) and I was suspended with no pay for three days. Those days should be dead and gone but with these tories in power we are going backwards. Mitchell would have us all doffing caps, so it's important he goes. he represents a lot that's bad in this country. A very well written and thought out post matey, but I have to be honest and say you can take all that " up the worker" left wing propaganda and stuff it up your arse. I don't give a f**k that the management have tea and cakes with the workers in Belgium, France or anywhere else.......we have been getting these countries out the shit for years cause as nations they ain't worth a carrot. As for all the public school nonsense, I would rather someone with the very best education was running the country than some left wing ex- council or union idealist. In modern politics all that counts for shit anyway cause they all went to the same schools!!! My mate is the guv nor of a firm that turns 100 million a year, he started there when we left school steam cleaning the fly ash off the bottom of tippers.......now he earns a fortune and has grafted his bollocks off for it.......why should he sit and have lunch with his workers?.....half of them are brainless f*****g morons who do nothing but moan about everything all the time. If they want to grow a brain, take themselves to night school and work all the hours then maybe one day they will have his job..........and that's just the way it should be. Small potatoes all this Mitchell business........small potatoes for a nation of petty little cry babies

Mitchell would have us all doffing caps, so it's important he goes. he represents a lot that's bad in this country. My only experience of any sort of "class system" ive experienced in my relatively short 28 years of life was the Labour government banning hunting cause of some petty class war. The largest loss of life from any rank range in WWI was the junior officers who were decimated leading their men from the front. The recent surge in the divide between the wealthiest and the poorest in this country happened under Tony Blair's government. Your anecdote that a friend of a friend told you means nothing. I used to sit and eat with my boss all the time whos great, great, great, ect ect granddad tried to overthrow Elizabeth I, thats how posh he was. Ive worked with some seriously posh people and never for one second felt a class divide. Maybe you think you notice some sort of divide because you prefer it that way, you prefer to see your self as a downtrodden worker under the heel of your oppressive overlords. Equipment shortages for the armed forces were at there hight under the Labour government even after years of a booming economy. Royal family is dysfunctional? In what respect? One of the grandsons gets naked at parties. Another has a fit misses who gets her tits out of holiday. The son married a howler because he was obviously in love after his marriage (and bride) died. And the mother is getting on abit but still cracks on and does as best she can. Sounds pretty normal tbh. Much more normal than moaning constantly about how your life is shit because of some big bad tory. And finally your personal story is hardly a howling indictment of the state of the country. You were late, you lost pay, and your immediate boss was a nob and an arselick, I garantee all of those things happened to people in Communist Russia.
Guest bezza
The hunting vote was a free vote. Cameron promised us a fresh vote. When will it come? Your point about rank and mortality is statistical nonsense. Are you claming more junior officers died than rank and file? I am no apologist for Bliar. He should be charged with genocide. In your 4th paragraph, you appear to claim that there is no class divide in this country and that it's all in my confused head. Look at the stats with regard to who owns what. I am not a downtrodden worker, I have three pensions and a comfortable lifestyle, which I worked hard all my days to achieve. Your statement in your fifth paragraph is not disputed. The german social security scroungers and fascist sympathisers are certainly dysfunctional in the accepted sense of the term. There is not a stable relationship between them. Not surprising given the incestuousness of their pedigrees and the fact that they were raised by flunkies. You totally miss the point in your comment pertaining to my final paragraph. I was ordered to work for nothing, I refused. I was suspended without pay for refusing to work for nothing. I was late because one of my chidren was ill and I was organising child care. This was not taken into account when I was disciplined. I am no fan of Soviet Russia. It seems extraordinary that when an alternative view of British society is proffered, critics immediately assume that you are a commie. Not guilty. I urge you to have a look at how civilised and classless the Scandanavian countries are . Check out how Australian society works. I recently spent three months in Australia. The guy to the left of the house I was staying at was a binman, the guy to the right a doctor. We shared pools and'barbies' together. Their kids attended the same schools and played together. It is often said this country has a class system secondary only to India. When you point it out, you tend to get attacked by the patricians' pit bulls. It is often said this country has a class system secondary only to India. When you point it out, you tend to get attacked by the patricians' pit bulls. You must know that to have a free vote on hunting now would be suicide for the pro-hunting movement? We wouldnt be in this position now if Blair hadnt forced it through in the first place to try and score some points with his backbenchers who were hell bent on fighting a class war. Ref WW1, im not claiming anything, its a fact. A higher percentage of junior officers were killed than any other rank. Looking at the Top 20 Rich List for the year there is and Earl and a Duke on it. The rest look to me like self made businessmen/women. Im sure the aforementioned aristocracy were certainly helped by there titles but whos to say that they wouldnt be successful without it. I dont doubt that a class divide exists, im just saying it has no bearing on my day to day life. It matters not to me that some one some were was born with more cash then me you maek your own luck in life. If youve got a problem with people inheriting wealth then i supose that everything you own when you die will be left to the state or a charity? Prince William seems to have a stable relationship ... Price Charles seems to have a stable relationship ... The queen seems to have a stable relationship ... Were are these unstable relationships that you wouldnt see in any of the other households in the uk? I can tell you id trust the royals a damned sight more than id trust these other showers whether they are Lib/Lab/Con or what ever. Yes and of course the reason why you were forced to work for nothing was because of a Duke sitting in a stately home 50 miles away and not because your foreman was a prick. Yes and of course those doctors. The arrogance of them ... aussie doctors one of the guys, mates with binmen thats how un middle class they are ... not British doctors though living in their huge houses looknig down on every one like there scum ... i happen to be pretty good mates with a few doctors and they are just normal girls/blokes but they do a job i wouldnt do if you paid me millions. I kind of get the feeling you see some one in a nice house or a decent car and you feel resentment, you feel like they didnt earn it. I see some one in a nice house or car and think good on em, they must have worked fairly hard to get that.
