socks 32,253 Posted September 20, 2012 Report Share Posted September 20, 2012 Just come back from the vets and and my bitch Tegan is finally in pup ... she has been put to a very very well bred saluki grey that has a lot big names in his line including a Waterloo cup winner .... 3 weeks to go so fingers crossed for a healthy litter and hope she doesn't absorbe any .......... 9 Quote Link to post

Any particular reason you went with a Saluki hybred socks and not another collie lurcher? I'm not knocking it at all, I think it's a great breeding. Hope it all goes well. I wanted to add a bit of length height and wind into the litter mate ... Also I have seen this dog working and he is top class watched him do 3 runs of over 3 minuets each in a morning with a 100% catch rate and then work with the ferrets and nets in the afternoon ...
