Dimmer switches are a god send if you ask me. Opening gates, getting over fences. Plus why have lamp on full 100watts, when a 20watts will do the same job

 

and your no needing it on full beam when the dogs coming back or round your feet

do you have to have a lamp shining for your dog to come back? i know i dont

250 there a bit on the steep side i liked the sound of them but that may be to much for me ,they might come down in price

ive had one of these for a while now but didnt pay that much

pros: low power usage good crisp beam white light not yellow

 

cons: takes a second to get up to power but i get around that by simply having it pointed at my chest before i flick it on

what are they like for weight? they look a tad bulky with the extra square piece on the top. how much are replacement bulbs mate.

not heavy at all and replacement bulbs shouldnt be too bad just look on the bay for hid bulbs (search for hid hunting lamp)not sure what model i would need, generally dont think that far ahead lol

not seen the lightforce in action so couldnt really say, the lightforce has the ballast underneath where as the one i put a link up for has it on top, cant see there being much difference in the beam it would all come down to build quality but for the price of the lightforce i would be expecting something special
