RESCHEDULED - N.W.T.F. 2012 CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS FINALS

MIDLANDS GAME FAIR, WESTON PARK, Sunday 16th September 2012

Following the cancellation of the Warwickshire and West Midlands Game Fair at Arbury Hall a number of enquiries were received regarding the possibility of rescheduling the 2012 NWTF Champion of Champions Finals elsewhere during the current year.

I am pleased to report that Countryman Fairs, Countryman’s Weekly and the Coursing Crew who jointly organise and host the Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions Terrier Show at the Midland Game Fair, have very generously provided us with the opportunity to hold the NWTF Finals alongside their own two shows at Weston Park on Sunday 16thSeptember. This means that two separate Championship Shows will be held at the same venue on the same day and that the open show held in the morning (10:00 am onwards) will be an opportunity to qualify for both.

I am currently waiting for qualifiers passes to arrive and once they do, they will be posted out first class this week.

NWTF QUALIFIERS TIMETABLE:

· 10:00 am - 11:30 am NWTF Registration at the NWTF Stand (please be prompt).

· 12:15 pm NWTF Qualifiers to Assemble in Collecting Ring.

· 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm NWTF Qualifiers Parade& Championship Finals.

COUNTRYMAN’S WEEKLY TIMETABLE:

· 10:00 am - 12:00 am Open Show.

· 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Countryman’s Weekly Qualifiers Registration

· 01:45 pm Countryman’s Weekly Qualifiers to Assemble in Collecting Ring.

· 02:00 pm onwards Countryman’s Weekly Qualifiers Parade & Championship Finals.

The wet weather during 2012 has made it a dreadful year for shows in general and terrier shows in particular, and had seen the cancellation of the CLA Game Fair at Belvoir Castle, the Great Yorkshire Terrier Show at Harrogate and the NWTF Finals at Arbury Hall. It says a great deal about the team at “The Midland” for the manner in which they have bent over backwards to accommodate us and at such short notice too, we are most grateful and look forward to seeing everyone on 16th.

will we have to pay the full entry fee as last year???

to stand for the majority of the day by the show rings and

to be quite a long way from the main show site which means should those showing dogs want to walk around they either go between classes which means most likely missing classes or wait till the end of the day!!!

Hi Dilly

No.... the owner of each terrier which had previously qualified for the cancelled NWTF Champion of Champions Finals at Arbury Hall will receive a pass entitling them to free admission to the game fair. They were sent out today by first class post.

Kindest Regards - Barrie
