GruffaloGriff 1,859
What do you recon the best value for money PCP is? I would like a HW100 or a rapid but even second hand they are out of my price range. Unless of corse anyone has one cosmetically not great but works ok and wants to sell it cheap. Failing that what multi shot do you recon offers the best value for money for the quality you get? As with all things in life i realise you get what you pay for but often times you can pay for a name too when another brand is nearly as good but costs a lot less. Quote Link to post

Pink or stink 162
Target or hunting? Quote Link to post
GruffaloGriff 1,859
Target or hunting? Hunting rabbits firstly then with the odd bit of plinking. Would prefer .22 as my springer is a hw35 in .22 so already have a good asortment of pellets. Quote Link to post
AR177 588
I would say a superten would be a good buy, I got mine up and running for 350. It shoots superbly. Ultras are amazingan after seeing what si pittaway's can do in Nottingham I would reccomend it over rifles 5x its price! ATB Adam Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
hi buddy i was only saying this last night! to wurz and chaz and Phil, the Air Arms S410 for the money and i will tell you why! if you buy an pre AT (anti tamper) you can maintain it your self, and have a hassle free rifle,no sending it away.you can have them in bits in minutes and all seals and O rings are all easy to change.if you buy a new one with AT fitted this can easily fall off the fettling you can do to them is easy to,and the performance you get for your money is the best PCP on the market for your money  you get 60 shots in .177 from a 190 bar fill and shots in .22 from 190 bar fill, the magazine system is smooth and reliable, and the cocking cycle is smooth too.its light weight so no problem if you have noodle arms and is a great rifle to shoot from a vehicle. take a look here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/240773-air-arms-s410-review/ Quote Link to post
GruffaloGriff 1,859
Davy, excelent review of the s410 on your link thanks. The s410 seems to be the favorite at the moment. I am allways keen to maintain all my tools myself and happy to take them apart and repair/ replace bits as needed. It sounds like it is fairly easy with this rifle so thats a definte selling point for me. Guess i will be keeping my eye open for one on the sales section here. Thanks to all for the advice, keep it coming. Anthing else to rival the s410 and the BSA ultra? Quote Link to post
Buster321c 1,010
Nothing will rival the S410 , easy to shoulder , nicely balanced , great build quality ...............what more do you want ? 1 Quote Link to post
