George Kinloch 16
I read something saying giving ur ferret cooked not raw meat means u get less hold ups under ground as they dnt sit and eat the rabbit they have killed. Is this true? Quote Link to post
The one 8,592
Its the roast potatoes and peas that go with the cooked meat that bags them up ,Stops them killing Quote Link to post

skycat 6,174
Some people advise only feeding dry food to ferrets: the theory being that if they don't know what rabbit tastes like they are less likely to kill and lie up:  There's an awful lot of crap written about feeding animals: feed them as nature intended: whole carcase and raw, and providing you don't send them down warrens starving hungry they'll no more lay up than you would steal your mate's sandwich if you had one of your own.
