MoChara 1,632
In my opinion for rabbits, it would be a collie x all th way. (not just because of the fact ive got one and see it work, but partly yes). Member's will have seen all types of lurchers work so will say what they see/seen to be the best cross for rabbits. KittleRox 2,147
I know what birdogs oan aboot but its a secret so I,m no saying lol Traitor awe fxck I will, I,ve got a whippet here I wouldn,t part with, great wee character, shit hot at marking, natural retriever, handy on the playing fields and I,m sure I could go on, definately more pros than cons, But I also have a 1/2 cross collie, 1/4 bull, 1/4 greyhound here and if I had to to get rid of one I know it would be the whippet reason being if I were to work both these dogs hard, ferreting through the day, lamping at night, 5 days/nights a week the whippet or any other whippet couldn,t last the pace, and thats what I think birddogs point was, If you,re wanting a hard bomb proof type the collie x is hard to beat for bunny bashing all that said this wee whippet I have here is going nowhere cause she,s agreat wee dug and I,ll have another in the future probably, just my take on it Quote Link to post
