N.W.T.F. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS

& OPEN WORKING TERRIER SHOW

 

WARWICKSHIRE AND WEST MIDLANDS GAME FAIR

Held at

Arbury Hall, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV10 7NF

On Bank Holiday Sunday 26th August 2012

 

“Where the Best, Meet the Best”

 

This year’s National Working Terrier Federation’s Champion of Champions Finals, will once again be held in the Main Arena at the Warwickshire and West Midlands Game Fair, at its NEW VENUE, Arbury Hall, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV10 7NF, on Bank Holiday Sunday 26th August 2012.

 

 

Each Qualifying Terrier entering the Championship Finals on the day will receive a Qualifier’s Momento. The Champion and Reserve Terriers in addition to their Perpetual Trophies and Rosettes, will also each receive a suitably inscribed commemorative trophy spade to keep.

 

The Championship Finals will be followed by the Open Show. It’s the first qualifying show for the 2013 NWTF Champion of Champions Finals and is open to all terriers on the day with the exception of the 2012 Champion of Champions and Reserve. We look forward to seeing you on the day !

Thanks for those kind words T2 and Alli. It'll certainly be good to see everyone again this year, particularly after recent events.

 

Championship Qualifiers passes were posted out first class this morning (Thurs 16th) and should be with everyone by Saturday, any problems give either myself or Joy a shout.

 

For those who have never attended an NWTF Championship, you'll find our gallant lal workers all receive the respect they so justly deserve and are paraded/judged in the Game Fair main arena (see videos excerpts below).

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner.... on their website the Game Fair Organisers do mention "Limited camping and caravan space are available on a PRE-BOOKED basis only" and as Big T suggests a Google on "Arbury Hall + camping" comes up with at least one local farm.

Just a suggestion, but if you are thinking of travelling down and making a weekened of it, the Long Itchington Show the following day is no great distance away (20 miles) and is too good a show to miss.

                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner.

      Show time again folks! 
      Fell and moorland wtc are holding in there summer show again in good old Lancashire. 
      Get yourself and the family down to support this club. All the cash made gose back to the members if they have a dog stuck and need a rescue. 
      All the usual classes for the terriers and the running dogs. Champion bull X  and child handler for the kids! 
      And Anyone wanting to show there Bedlingtons we have a class for them as well. 
      Qualifiers for champion of champions at the Midlands, Pride of the peaks and more! 
      Food and drinks available on site, trade stalls welcome
